Bizfarm

Bizfarm is a private incubator based at Glenwood, Durban. It was setup in 2010 on the day the Soccer World Cup kicked off in South Africa. (hence the green and gold)
Its mission is to grow entrepreneurs by providing necessary enabling support. Entrepreneurs create jobs and We grow entrepreneurs.
Most entrepreneurs fail in the early stages of their ventures because they do not have necessary skills or support systems around them.
Bizfarm provides basic infrastructure such as office space, meeting rooms, coaching and mentoring, training and access to finance. They are open to all irrespective of race and gender.
Bizfarm is different from other organisations because it has been setup and operated without any external funding since its inception. It is sustained by income from entrepreneurs who use the services, which start from R250 a month.
Bizfarm also provides training to other incubators and policy support to organisations interested in developing entrepreneurs.
Bizfarm focuses on enabling market access to entrepreneurs by providing them digital skills. It has trained 15,000 youth on Digital Skills in the past few months in KZN and ECape in programme supported by Google.
At present, Bizfarm supports about 40 entrepreneurs directly through its incubator.
